Mo Abhaile

Mo Abhaile is a personal exploration of what home means to me as an irish immigrant living within the uk for the last decade. the concept of ‘home’ has always been a struggle for me, especially during the making of this zine, as i explore the division i feel between my nostalgic belonging and the life i’ve built

Mo Abhaile is written entirely in irish, using my own irish that i learned during my years in a gaelscoil. a decade after leaving gaelscoil, my irish is limited and simplistic, but i wanted it to be my own. mo abhaile is not available translated into english.
