Howdy!

my name is aiden, going by piierrote online! I'm a 23 queer irish artist currently based in the UK. alongside working as a barista, i make as much art as i can from my studio and riso printing press!

i largely make risograph illustration, but i love to explore mediums like markers, oil pastels, pencils and ceramics. all my work is heavily informed by my experience as a queer person, and also by what is really moving and inspiring me. i have a real affinity for angels, cowboys and knights and a lot of my work features these themes

my goal is always to make work that creates joy within me, and hopefully reaches others as well <3

aka the baby

butch valentine is a 1 year old ragdoll kitten that is full of sweetness but also dumb as rocks. he has a joy for rummaging through rubbish, climbing curtains and being the equivalent of a living stuffed toy. he’s a known menace, and frequently looks like a beautiful bug
